Abstract
The responsibilities for Glasgow University’s 1983 Gifford Lectures were shared by two of the University’s own faculty: Anthony J. Sanford, Professor of Psychology, and Philip Drew, Professor of English Literature. Immediately following Professor Sanford’s five lectures (later published as Models, Mind and Man), Professor Drew’s lectures, which were never published, were delivered in February and March of 1983, under the theme The Literature of Natural Man.
