Abstract
Macquarrie in responding to criticisms of natural theology by David Hume and Immanuel Kant reviews the understanding of God in classical theism, atheism, and pantheism. In response to these views Macquarrie that the most adequate understanding of God can be understood as dialectical theism, as he presents it in this book.
