Abstract
William E. Hocking’s Gifford Lectures, titled ‘Fact and Destiny’, were originally scheduled for the 1936-1937 academic year, but according to the minutes of the University Senate (dated 21 January 1937 and 18 March 1937) were actually delivered to the University of Glasgow between 20 April and 20 May 1938 and in January 1939. The lectures themselves were never published.
